President of ACEP, Project Manager

Andrei is a gallerist and a cultural manager, president of Asociația Culturală Eastwards Prospectus. He did Business Administration studies in Romania and France. With a M.A. degree in cultural management at INSEEC Paris and following his international experience in the field, he opened a gallery in Bucharest, in 2014.

Program Mentorship Coordinator

Georgia Țidorescu is a young curator based in Bucharest. Since 2018, she has been working in exhibition production for various institutions and organizations. Currently, Georgia is in an experimental phase of discovering her curatorial practice. Within Accelerator Brașov, she ensures that the 10 emerging artists selected in the mentorship program have the necessary tools at their disposal to develop their presentation, organizational, and communication skills for their own artistic practices.

Director of the Brașov Art Museum

Bianca-Maria Bălșan is a cultural manager and the director of the Brașov Art Museum. She is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies and has been part of the teams at the Romanian Cultural Institute and the National Institute for Cultural Research and Training within the Ministry of Culture. In these roles, she was involved in numerous research projects concerning the impact of culture on society, education, and the national economy. Within Accelerator Brașov, Bianca evaluates artists’ application portfolios and, alongside Andrei and Georgia, coordinates the organization of the thematic workshops and the group exhibition held at the Brașov Art Museum.

Exhibition Logistics and Production

Arion Andrei (born in 1996) resides and works in Cluj-Napoca. He graduated from the Bachelor’s program at the Faculty of Arts and Design in Timișoara, specializing in Photo-Video, but his artistic practice is predominantly focused on sculpture and installation. Within the project, Andrei will support the 10 emerging artists in producing new works and will be involved in the organization of the group exhibition.

Communication Coordinator

Elena Dobre is a strategic communicator who has worked in communication for 7 years within tech companies and a renowned Public Relations agency in Romania. For the past two years, she has been working as an independent communicator and collaborates with cultural and educational organizations on topics such as sustainability and entrepreneurship. Within Accelerator Brasov, Elena promotes the open call to emerging artists in Romania. She ensures to create a bridge between the ten selected artists and the general public through the editorial project “Face to Face with the Artists,” press interviews, and communication for the group exhibition at the end of the mentorship phase.
