Public art is a vital platform for bridging the gap between contemporary art and the wider public, bringing immediate issues out of the confines of the gallery space. This process can help the general public understand that contemporary art is not defined by traditional notions of art and can be a powerful tool for exploration and research. For this project, the artists have chosen themes that delve into personal space and its boundaries, the ways in which people adapt to collective trauma, and the nature of shared memories. These topics are deeply embedded in everyday life, often becoming so common that they are overlooked, yet they remain ever-present. The projects serve as tools for reflection and remembrance, bringing these themes to the forefront for public consideration.
